La Posada
"La Posada" means "the inn" in Spanish. For my group of friends at Lake Martin, it means "Baby Jesus" . . . the perfect place for a Mexican meal.
Every time I have been to La Posada, I have been treated like a queen. Four years ago, at around 9 p.m., a (literal) boatload of friends landed from a long sunset boat cruise, starving. We called La Posada in Dadeville, and they told us to "come on down." By the time we got there, the staff was turning off lights. They saw us pull into the lot and started taking the chairs off the tables . . . Opened back up for one table!
The menu . . . fresh and borderline fancy. $8-12 avg.
Margaritas . . . pack a perfect punch.
Service . . . I dare you to have an empty vat of salsa. They will keep it coming before you have time to blink.
Our group of friends nickname everything.
La Posada=the Inn=where The Lord was born-baby Jesus. It just kinda stuck.
