Honored to Be a Real Estate Agent on BA's List of Tallapoosa County Movers & Shapers
As a real estate agent, I am so privileged to be an ambassador for Tallapoosa County and the Lake Martin community. In December, Business Alabama magazine listed Movers & Shapers who also work hard to build up and improve and let it be known the great assets we have here in Alexander City, Dadeville and surrounding communities.
It's an incredible responsibility to be a "mover and shaper." As a REALTOR® , in representing the interests of my clients, I am very public, talking to sellers and buyers. I know these words have an impact in the reputation our community develops.
But my job of putting forward a positive image is made somuch easier by the tremendous contributions (some as volunteers) that my fellow Tallapoosa County movers and shapers make.
The Business Alabama article mentions business leaders and self-sacrificing politicians, college presidents and nonprofit organization leaders. One example is John Thompson. I'm sure you will be impressed by his programs that help keep Lake Martin beautiful. We did a Love Lake Martin Show segment on it. Lake Martin is fast becoming the crown jewel of lower Alabama, and it's from all these people moving and shaping the future of Tallapoosa County.
Others mentioned in the article are Don McClellan, executive director of the Lake Martin Area Economic Development; Jim Peace, CEO of Russell Medical; Steve Robinson, County Commissioner for District 2.
The Alabama Extension Office has a whole section on the many amenities and services in our county and around the lake. And this is not possible unless the individuals who are in our businesses, in our churches, in our government, in our schools, and living in our homes take pride in what we have and are willing to step up and lead.
If you see a Tallapoosa County mover and shaper, tell them you recognize their work and the impact they are having.
