Where to Find Long-Lasting Outdoor Furniture for your Lake Martin House
You used to have to discard it every couple of years. Or you used to have to do maintenance on it by painting or more. But now, all you have to do is clean it!
Mark King, owner of Mark King's Lake Martin Furniture, gave me a few minutes of his time to tell the trends in outdoor furniture. In this Love Lake Martin Show segment, he talks of "patented drainable cushions," "sunbrella fabric," "marine-grade plywood," and "stainless steel frames." All I know is that his outdoor furniture is wonderfully comfortable and stylish.
Today, Lake Martin homeowners use their outside patios, decks and courtyards as an extension of the living room. With our many months of warmer weather, outside is where we relax and enjoy visiting with family and friends. You get the most of the lake view with the smells and sounds of nature. Now outdoor furniture is fitting this lifestyle.
Note that some of the couches and chairs are completely upholstered with no framing showing, just like your inside couches and chairs. And here's a tip: Prepare for the pollen season by covering your furniture or bringing the cushions indoors.
